God Uses a Three Year Old

I heard this bitter-sweet story today and I loved how God used this three year old to preform His work. My parents really good friends had a miscarriage this week and it is not really my place to tell names but she had a miscarriage. They didn't know the gender of the baby yet but they thought if it was a boy they would name it Levi. This would be their second baby (the other baby is three). The parents would always tell the three year old "baby brother Levi". The three year old couldn't say Levi so she would say "Eli, baby brother Eli". When the parents were at the grief center in the hospital the person said they should name the baby. They were looking at the name book that had the names and meanings of the names in it. First they looked at Levi then at Eli. Eli meant ascended. I heard this story and I thought "WOW, how cool! God used a three year old to communicate His message." This three year old was saying baby brother ascended. Think about that.

SORRY!!!

Sorry I failed AGAIN!!! So sorry I haven't posted for almost a month but hey we all make mistakes. I could give you lots of reasons why I haven't posted but besides laziness the main reason would probably be I have been super busy. This week I had volleyball tryouts but I didn't make the team :(. I didn't expect to considering I had never been on a volleyball court. My fails at spiking turned into "illegal movements" according to my coach. Anyway SORRY!

Texts I LOVE to get!

I don't know if everyone has text that they love to get but I do. They are ones that put a smile on my face.
1. What's wrong? I love to get this one because it shows that the person your talking to knows you well enough that just from a text can tell your upset. I think it also shows who cares enough to ask.

2. Good Morning:) This text makes me smile because it isn't any normal 'hey' text message. I don't really have any other explanation why they make me smile but they do. If I figure it out I'll let you know.

3. I'm sorry. I hope every one has gotten a text like this because everyone deserves one. We aren't perfect and we need to apologize.

4. I miss you.  I think this one is self explanatory.

When I started typing this post the first thing I typed was I love you, but really how can you love me? When I get a text saying I love you from one of my best friends I can believe that and it makes me smile but when I get this text from a guy the story changes. How? How can you love someone; I mean yes if your are married you can but we can't even drive! You might think you do but how do you know? people change and truth is in ten years you probably won't even talk to the person. Think to yourself how many of your friends or yourself have had this happen to them. Just think that is why I love you isn't on this list. Hate is a strong word but so is love.

Pet Peeves!

Everyone has a pet peeve. They are so annoying! Sometimes for OCD people it is something not being straight or in order for others it is people constantly telling you what to do. For me it is constant noise. For instance I will be sitting in class and the guy next to me will start tapping on his desk. I'll be like okay it will stop in a minute. hahahaha NO! It keeps going! Why I have no idea but it is so annoying. I whisper "hey          , can you stop-" but right there i get YELLED  at by my teacher "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING?!? 'I was thinking I was telling           to shut up but I guess not' is what is running through my mind.
Another pet peeve of mine is when people drive slow! I can't drive but when we are in traffic or the person in front of us is driving slow I get so irritated. I guess I get irritated by slow drivers is because I HATE being late and when other people are late. Plus I like to go fast.

Today I got a text from one of my besties, Ireland B., the text said "I don't know if you do requests but I think your song of the day should be firework by Katy Perry." This I had to think about because 'The Song of the Day' I told you was what I was singing. I realized that not everyone likes the same music I do. Song of the Day!

So, something that sounded like a whole bunch of fun to me was a song of the day. A song of the day is basically the song that you are constantly walking around singing or humming. I do this ALL the time; sometimes it is the whole week sometimes only an hour. I am going to try and keep up with posting daily what my song for the day will be. If I skip a day or so please don't worry! I will try to get into the habit of posting! Now that i have explained what song of the day is you can know what mine for today is!!!

Tell Me I'm a Wreck: Every Avenue

New Year's!!

So, It's the New Year and everyone well most people have a New Year's resolution. This year i realized I'm not very consistent with things. Like this year I tried to do a youtube blog and I didn't expect to do a blog everyday or anything just maybe once a week. You know how many videos i posted...... 0 a big fat zero. NONE!!! Well I figured i should start out smaller like with a blog. So, if you want to start something but your not very consistent try to start smaller. :)
 Another thing is last summer I was at a youth group trip with my church and they had a speaker there. I got inspired that night. The speaker was talking about children in poverty and he said 'Have you ever thought about how many times in a year you say Mine?' Yes, it is a habit we all say mine. I know I say it all the time. I think everyone does. We grow up saying that's mine. Our parents never really say okay this is yours. Do they? But that is how we live. This is another thing I want to improve. I know that i won't be perfect and it is going to take a while but that is what New Year resolutions are for. To challenge ourselves.
